A serialization where Kotoko-san makes a poster that everyone would want to post up at their house. This time she appears in a yukata with summer vibe.

I don't have much summer festival memories…. (laughs)

This is the first time I wear a yukata this year! I think the last time I wear a yukata privately was during primary school. I cannot wear it by myself, so having someone dress me up feels out of the ordinary which is nice. Near the location of the photoshoot, there were people playing a trumpet and someone exercising with a rope. This photoshoot feels in a sense out of the ordinary, you can't really tell that it's a typical weekday. Must be nice able to absorb yourself doing what you like during this time of a day… That's a lifestyle I want to have.

I went to summer festivals every year during middle school, but I can't remember what I did there at all (laughs). When I went to a firework festival with my grandma when I was young, we went to one at a river near my place. But there were too many people, and so many long lines for buying food, there aren't even a place to sit and watch the fireworks… so we went home right away. I remember playing with handheld fireworks at the garden at home.

Also, I've been wanting to have a barbecue in summer. Last two years, I did a barbecue party and fireworks with friends in my hometown, this year we're also planning to do one. Everyone took a day off and they even prepared all the ingredients for me, they told me to just "Look forward to it!" (laughs). It's been like this since before I enter the entertainment industry, so it's not really because I am busy, but everyone just understand who I am. That's why I also reply to them with just an "Okay!" and go without bringing anything (laughs). Very thankful!

Kotokotogoto: Ginza Waffle Mini

Things that Kotoko wants to get into

It's is a type of waffle called stroopwafel, which is caramel sandwiched by two thin waffles. Ginza waffle mini is a product from Ginbiz which is a snack I believe designed be put on top of a coffee mug like a lid to be warmed up before you eat. The outside is crunchy and the inside is chewy, it's delicious …! I only tried it once when someone gave me, but when I try to buy it myself I can't find it in any convenient stores…
